She Says: Before the Wedding
This morning I took advantage of my treadmillless environment and ran outside. My fist 5 k is in two weeks. I am not prepared. I ran for about a half hour and was dying the whole time. I had sweat burning my eyes. Why do I even bother running on a treadmill?
So here are prewedding eats. We each had an Enviga. I only drank half as it was slightly nauseating. Mark said Green Tea flavor is better. Mark also had a veggie wrap from Quick Check. I took a picture of the package, but we do not know whether it had HFCS.
After the ceremony, we went to Suburban Square. We hit up Trader Joe’s where I was overwhelmed by the variety of cheap nut butters. I can’t wait for Trader Joe’s to come to R.I. I ultimately chose the raw crunchy unsalted almond butter, which was only $4.99. Mark got a Very Green Juice Blend, which he says is very simiar to the Green Machine Odwalla drink.
Be back later with the wedding eats. Have a great Saturday.
I forgot to add that I put an olive that fell from Mark’s sandwich in his iced coffee because I thought it was garbage. It wasn’t and Mark had to drink olive coffee. This was very funny to us at the time.

Mmm olive coffee… now that sounds like a winning combination…
I need to branch out from the treadmill thing too. Too bad runnning outside just intimidates me.

Hope you had fun at the wedding. Nice that you got to fit a tj’s trip in! That is hilarious about the olive coffee…the thought makes me a little nauseous!

Heather, I have faith that you WILL be ready for the 5K – stay positive!!
HAHA!!! So funny (and unfortunate for Mark!) about the olive in the coffee

All your pictures make me wish I had a Trader Joe’s near me. I am intrigued by that green juice.

Olive coffee. Ha!
Love the expression on your face in the TJ’s pic.
I’m proud of you with your running gig! You’re such an awesome person.

I heart Trader Joes. Very jealous.

Olive coffee – delish! Ok, not really
I’ve tried that Enviga before and completely agree that it’s slightly nauseating. It was too much for my stomach to handle.
Wow, $4.99 for almond butter? That’s great! I love your expression in that picture – totally a face I would make in the grocery store when pleased by the wonderful selection!

AHHH! suburban square as in ardmore pa? i heart suburban square (and i’m guessing that is what you are referring to, b/c of trader joe’s). i live in nc now but grew up near S.S. and have so many fond memories of shopping there.

Molly: Thank you!
Mizfit: It’s different from Whole Foods. Every TJ’s I’ve been in is smaller than a WF. There is no giant salad bar or prepared foods area. It does not have the same serene and calming vibe. TJ’s is more the fast paced super market with lots of good deals.
Sarah: Yes, in Ardmore!
Yes, that picture is funny because my neck is missing. But, Mark caught a moment of sheer excitement and bewilderment, so I went with it.

Being around everyone else… relax and have fun, you’ll be surprised how well it goes!
Really, you just picked one nut butter? haha
I always walk away with two!
