She Says: Meet Tiger Woods
I forgot to scan the lasagna recipe at school today, so that will have to wait for tomorrow. You’ll see why it must be scanned soon enough.
To compensate for my inability to follow through with the lasagna recipe, I give you a picture of one of Stinky Cheese’s (my sister) cats. His name is Tiger Woods and he is very fluffy and loving. Stinky Cheese is a true cat lover as she’s allergic, but owns three. Anyway, isn’t he just the cutest?
So for dinner, I used some of the carrots and zucchini left over from my muffins. I roasted the carrots and some chick peas in olive oil and sauteed the zucchini with onions. Then, I combined everything in the pan and added honey and mustard. Yum. I completed the look with a piece of Erin’s Best Bread.
Running Observation
The 5k really renewed my running excitement! I ran the 5k more quickly than I normally run on the treadmill. I guess that’s another reason why running outside is so hard – I go faster outside because I have no idea how fast I am actually going. When I went at 7.7 mph on the treadmill today I felt like I was going so fast, but yesterday during the 5k I felt like I was such a slow poke!

such a cute cat
my mom is the same, my parents have 3 cats and she’s allergic… but she doesn’t admit she’s a cat person. she claims she likes her dogs better (they have 2). crazzzzy. have a good night!

love the cat name…and your dinner looks tasty!!

aww tiger woods!
i think running outside “feels” slower because you don’t have the additional push forward of the treadmill.
isnt racing addictive?! i’m already eyeing my schedule and trying to fit another one in!!

Great job on the run!
Love the cat name too!

I love Tiger Woods – both the cat and the man! I’d like to think I’m his biggest fan…but you know, so does everyone else.
Mm, loving Erin’s Best Bread!!
I agree that I never know how fast I’m going outside – I need to figure out that whole “pacing yourself” thing sooner or later. It’s very important!

AWW I miss my kitty
I love tiger’s big swooshy tail!
I never used to like running outside, because I knew I couldn’t push myself as hard without knowing how fast I was going. Now that I have a heart rate monitor running outside is soo much easier, I can tell when I let my pace slow and when I need to take a break, very convenient!

running outside is way better! I remember one time I had to to a track work out on the tredmill and it sucked hard core! It’s also nice to have scenery and such instead of the TV.

Who knew Tiger was so hairy?

Cute kitty!

Haha- Tiger Woods… what’s his handicap (that’s a golf term, yes?)?
Yeah, it’s amazing how much faster you run when there are a bunch of other people running alongside. I have a really hard time pacing myself at the beginning of races. But I much prefer running outdoors to the treadmill!

LOL – I love Tiger Woods!
I like the idea of chick peas on a sandwich – not something that comes right to my mind – but now I’m definitely going to try it!

i feel the exact same way about running! i think it has to do with your stride. when i’m running on the treadmill my stride is much shorter because i’m not actually going anywhere. try taking longer steps instead of more steps on the treadmill and it might be easier to maintain a faster speed

What a cute cat! I love cats, but my boyfriend is allergic.
Re: white whole wheat
It’s 100% whole wheat flour made to look and bake like white flour(!) King Arthur makes some.

Wow, 7.7!? That’s soooo fast!

The cat is too cute. He looks fun!
Keep up the good work with the running! I run faster when outside, too. But I seem to have more endurance when on a treadmill.

Congratulations on our run.
Tiger Woods is very cute, but don’t forget about Cyrus. He is quite a looker too! They are both adorable.
