She Says: Don’t Forget the Tea
And herbal coffee.

Like my Christmas stocking in the background? My mom made it. When I was packing for the big move today I just had to take a picture of all of this tea – there’s herbal, green, white, lose, chai – I love it! Some are new and some are old favorites. Now I also have that new Vanilla Nut herbal coffee to try, too. Anyone ever had herbal coffee? It says it’s made from carob.
Let me recap what happened Monday while I was packing and spending time with my mom and dad. I ran 6 miles – I am really going to miss having a treadmill at the tips of my toes – and did the Detox YogaDownload.
For breakfast, I had an Arnold’s Sandwich Thin with egg whites and a Morning Star Southwestern Style Veggie Cake. I know this looks a little brown, but it was really good. I’m thinking of repeating it this morning in fact. The veggie cakes are good, but kind of small, so this is a perfect use for them. They have lots of rice and beans inside so they bring an interesting texture to the eggs.

Then I cleaned clothes and packed, packed, packed. Mabel the Prius is suprisingly roomy!
Here are some of my packing tips:
- Take the time to do it correctly. How you pack things will be the way you find them when you unpack. I think it’s better to take the time now to organize, plan and do it properly because it was make the unpacking much easier.
- Wrap up breakable things. Again, it might seem like a pain, but it will be sad when something you love is broken.
- Label Boxes. When I moved back home I had the good sense to list the contents of each box I was storing. I could not remember what I had as far as plates, pots, pans, etc. and when I found the boxes nicely labeled I was pleasantly surprised. It will also help me to know where in the apartment each box should go.
- Get my dad to pack your car. He will fit any amount of stuff in even the smallest car. His experience moving five children in and out of college dorms and apartments makes him a semi-professional mover.
For dinner I tried the Amy’s Vegetable Lentil Soup. It was good for a can, but nothing compared to my mom’s lentil soup.

The packing is coming to an end and I’ll be on the road to Glen Ridge, New Jersey and my new apartment in a few short hours. Have a great day.

Have a safe trip!
My dad is an amazing car packer too. That always was his big job when I was going back to college!

I like your packing style, I’m in total agreement, it MUST be done right, or it’s just a big hot mess.

Have a safe trip! Don’t you love when you get other people to help pack — it’s like they get to play Tetris with your stuff!
I didn’t comment on the last post, but i loooooooooooved the pictures. I am from Keene, NH and went to school in Middlebury, VT so i see a lot of similarities. i love the small town feel. it’s so much simpler and peaceful.

Can’t wait to hear about your new place. I love Teeccino Herbal Coffee. When I go through my “I’m giving up caffeine” phases, Teeccino gets me through the mornings. It’s great with a little almond milk and Stevia.
Have a safe move! I have tried that herbal coffee and thought it was pretty good!
Does herbal coffee taste like carob?? Hope the move is going well. Glad you are so well stalked on all the best teas!!

My tea stash is equally big. I actually left some in R.I. because I was embarrassed to bring so much with me here haha
[...] So, back to my Action Plan. Part II was Body and will I did see significant overlap in the time when I started a new medicine and my weight gain I must be fully honest and say I know I’ve been eating too much lately. It seems I needed a refresher on appropriate portions and equivalent hunger levels. So, I looked back over my blog from last year (such a cool thing about a blog), and I realized several things, but one was that I used to eat more eggs back then. Specifically, I often used an egg as a base to bind a veggie burger and other veggies together. Simple, really not even cooking, but yet yummy and satisfying. And here I return to the Veggie Burger Scramble. [...]
