He Says: It’s Miller Time
The mission was simple. Make a delicious dessert based on ingredients currently in the house. My initial idea was to make another Ice Cream Soda but since the only liquid refreshment I have in the house is beer… things are a bit more interesting.
First, Turkey Hill Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream from a while back.
Despite being in the freezer for a while it was still fresh (smelling) and didn’t have much freezer burn. There was no green.

My next idea? Add one crumbled Honest Foods Granola Plank of the Maple Almond Crunch variety. The plank is pretty solid and adds some heft and texture to an otherwise mushy dish. The maple and brown sugar taste is strong but not overwhelming. It would really go well with plain Vanilla but I’m going to cover this thing with beer so the flavors will not conflict; they’ll mellow out just like me.

To turn things up to 11 I added some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies Heather made. Kind of an irrational additional, I know, but my blood was pumping and I got caught up at the prospect of having so much sugar in one bowl.

Lastly, the spiky golden crown to pierce the heavens. Everything was given a soothing bath with ice cold, cold-filtered Miller Genuine Draft.

OH MY GOD! I watched it three times. This is my favorite of ya’lls so far.
Another example of male privilege – being able to eat ice cream, beer, cookies, and a freakin’ PLANK with no guilt.
It’s a cruel world!

yummy dessert! GO REAL FOOD! I want to try this granola plank. where can i find it?
I love it when Americans refer to “soda” as “pop”. In Canada, if you call it “soda”, most people assume you’re American. I definitely like the word pop better. Maybe I’m just biased, based on years of Canadian experience …
Lee: Thanks. I find my voice completely annoying when I hear it. I think the planks with the new packaging should be in stores by the end of this month!
Best thing I’ve seen so far this week! Made my night.
Yeah, in Canada it’s pretty much always pop! [at least everywhere I've been in Canada -- it's a pretty big place
]
HAHAHAH I’m so glad I watched this!
I love how Mark stops mid-interview to take a drink of the MGD…like its THAT good, he can’t wait to have another sip. Come on!!
[...] Mark: The maple flavor was much stronger than the almond flavor. It was the inspiration behind a very special Beer and Ice Cream Float Dessert. [...]
Ok, Mark…you are insane. Love it. We’re always excited when our customers have fun with our products, but daaang. haha.

Everything looks a little bit like a turd. The cookies, oat bars, turds, they all look like turds.
