She Says: A Raw Misstep

Account Suspended! Sorry, if you got that message when you tried to get your morning dose of Hangry Pants this morning. Apparently, the server just cannot handle all I have to offer. I think the issue was resolved, but if you get that message again, please take note I am not delinquent in anyway, just too awesome.
So, when Mark came back from the studio last night he had some Raw Corn & Cashew Chowder. He loved it and commented on its miraculous creaminess, but raised a good point that is quite embarrassing. I made the soup with frozen corn, which most likely was blanched and therefore, not raw. Blast!
I started the day with coffee and another Fitnessista Breakfast Cookie!
- Oats
- Almonds
- Bulgur
- Dates
- Banana
- Water
Putting it in the freezer in the morning has been key for me. I also made it a little thicker, which made it even more cookie-like.

Alright, I am off to the gym for a run, but the back of my calves are super tight. I need to remember/take the time to stretch. Tina’s 31 Days of Yoga Challenge anyone?

Aww, I’m a fan of you too!
P.S. I think you are just too good for the sever; you’re wayyy outta its league ;o)
You should do it!
I am posting more info on my blog this afternoon about it!
OH YAY! You’re back!
You’re just totally far too fabulous for any known server
Oh wo,w looks great!!!
I too am LOVING me some Gina Breakfast Cookie!!!
That corn chowder sounds amazing- love creamy soups. Even though they’re obviously a big part of the recipe, do you think the cashews can be left out? (Am not a huge fan of cashews).
Count me in on Tina’s challenge. I’m also doing Chandra’s too. March is going to be my month.
Thanks again for the recipe!
I was wondering about that error msg. I thought it was just me!
Lovely breakfast cookie!!
Definitely do the yoga!!
I did get that and was sad because I was trying to comment on your last post. That’s too funny about the frozen corn. Unfortunate it’s out of season so I think you’d be hard pressed to find it fresh.
oh no! i wouldn’t have thought about the corn, either
Haha! The Cashew Chowder was great! Nice pics too.
Your calves, my buns. Everyone’s tight about something.
Freezer action is where its at on the brekkie cookie.
You are definitely too awesome. I could use lessons.
that cookie looks sooooo appetizing!!
Yep, I think you definitely had way too much to offer than the server could handle!
HAPPY FRIDAY!
i need to try that breakfast cookie – it always looks so good, no matter who makes it or what is in it
Yep, that’s the error I got this morning! I was like “whaa!”
Glad your back! Too bad about the cooked corn, I never would have thought of that!
Happy Friday to you and Mark!

I would not have thought about the corn, oh well.
Hope you have a great weekend.
