She Says: Very Big Things
Good afternoon bloggies!
I had another Black Tea Latte yesterday. This time I asked for it unsweetened and I preferred it this way. I am an addict now and my hefty Christmas Gift Card is quickly disappearing. I need my own milk steaming device for sure!

At Starbucks Mark and I saw the biggest bananas ever grown/created. The pictures do not give them justice.
I also had the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Almond Quaker True Delights Granola Bar from Foodbuzz.

Overall, I preferred the Toasted Coconut Banana Macadamia Nut (although I think the name is far toolong), but this on was tasty, too. I don’t usually like chocolate w/ fruit flavors, but neither flavor was so overwhelming in this bar. To me it was very sweet and definitely a dessrt/snack type item. Also, tall the toppings, chocolate chunks and berry bits, were on the top. The back was naked. Isn’t that funny?
Today I need me some vegetables. Despite Mark’s claims that I am being dramatic, I am suffering from a Superbowl Snack Hangover.
I chopped up every vegetable in the fridge: red peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, celery and red onions.

A-B Vegetable Pattern
I made a very big salad by mixing it all up with some chopped lettuce and packed it for the road.

Mark is “working from home” today, so we’re at the studio in Hoboken. It’s so gorgeous out so I can’t wait to go for a walk outside soon. Perhaps another Tea Latte is in my future!

Your veggies look awesome…I hate food hangovers, but seriously nothing like veggies to cure that up!
February 2nd, 2009 at 8:29 pm
That is a huge banana! I’ve totally got a craving for a tea latte right now… Maybe I should go and study, you know as an excuse to go.
Oh and the Puppy Bowl is basically a fake football stadium that they let puppies in to play around. It’s pretty simple, but how can not like watching puppies play?!
February 2nd, 2009 at 8:33 pm

February 2nd, 2009 at 9:02 pm
I’ve never had the black tea latte, but it sounds awesome!
BIG BANANAS – sometimes I get the feeling that fruit is being genetically enhanced.
February 2nd, 2009 at 9:04 pm
I am with you on the unsweetened tea lattes! I always get a hot green tea latte, but I ask for half the melon syrup. It’s SO good!HAHA and I love that you ALSO agree the name is way too long on those delish bars! I can’t even say the whole thing when I offer it to other people.
February 2nd, 2009 at 9:09 pm
you have a wonderful attitude, hon!:)
February 2nd, 2009 at 9:19 pm
I need to try that latte! I love tea and lattes. Can’t be bad.
February 2nd, 2009 at 9:40 pm
I have already plowed through all my Starbucks gift cards from Christmas.
February 2nd, 2009 at 10:25 pm
Too bad all those chocolate chunks didn’t make it all the way to the back of the bar – next time, take a picture of the naked side.
I’m loving all those chopped veggies – what a nutrient packed salad! I hope you got in a nice walk.
Have a good week Heather!
February 2nd, 2009 at 10:33 pm
right there with you on that black tea latte
i bet those bananas would be good in some cookies! ok, now you’ve gone and done it, gotten cookies on the brain!!

Yay for bright, fresh veggies!
February 3rd, 2009 at 9:24 am
YUM! I’ve been wanting to try their tea lattes so bad!!
February 3rd, 2009 at 9:52 am
That rainbow of veggies looks so delicious. I wish someone would chop all that up for me!
February 3rd, 2009 at 9:58 am
I agree. The banana/macadamia/coconut bar is by far my favorite. I wasn’t really expecting to like them because granola bars do not tend to be my thing, but they are actually quite addicting. I liked the third variety as well (cashew cherry maybe?). Overall I’ve been pretty impressed.
February 3rd, 2009 at 2:30 pm
The banana macadamia nut bar was my favorite too. The taste of the banana is so nice! And I loved biting into the big macadamia nuts! So good! I will definitely try those again.
