She Says: Oikos and Chobani Fight for My Love
Morning! Per usual, I had some Greek Yogurt this morning. It’s usually either some Greek Yogurt or Oats for me in the morning, depending on what I’m craving. A great day is oats in the Greek Yogurt. Today it was Greek Yogurt + Banana + Almond Butter. Yogurt in general is definitely one of my absolute favorite foods. I eat it everyday! And Greek Yogurt is one of my favorite ways to get protein!
Usually I have Chobani or Oikos Greek Yogurt and I know a lot of people ask me about the difference between the two, so I decided to do a little taste test for ya via blind taste test. In the video, I also give you a little run down of the flavor profiles of each brand. Mark, a non-Greek Yogurt lover, tries them to. I hope you like it!
Note: In the video I say the “oi” in Oikos like oil, but I think it might be “EEkos.”

Billy’s Getting Married
My little brother, Billy, is getting married Friday! I am closest in age to him than any of my other siblings, so when we were little we were always grouped together – kids’ table, back of the station wagon, etc. We even shared bunk beds. It blows my mind that my little brother is getting married! I was always extremely protective of him and worried about him (to the point of nightmares and sleepless nights) up until, oh about a year ago! Luckily, I know Megan, his fiancé, will take good care of him. Anyway, first Billy story:
I’ve never met a little boy who loved food quite as much as Billy! By age 8 he was watching cooking programs on TV! When he was very small he loved hot dogs and had a favorite hat with a hot dog on it. One day at the beach, it blew away in the ocean and he never saw it again. We tried to get a replacement for him, but it never worked. He always missed his “Yum Yum Hat.”
Okay, that video cracked me up! You two are so cute together.
I have had a nasty yogurt before. I can’t remember the name of it, but it’s Greek and comes in a few random flavors (including fig and pomegranate). Anyway, it smelled like mildew. Eww.

Haha, I LOVE chobani, and I got an email from Stony-field farms too about Oikos. I’m going to try it, I don’t know how hardcore I am yet…I usually get the yogurt with the fruit on the bottom…maybe one day i’ll be as hardcore as you.
