He Says: Low Budget Luxury
I’m not an elegant man. Devilishly handsome, psychically intuitive, King Among Men are more eligible titles to describe me and my personality. Once my English teacher would have added “exhibits impeccable penmanship” but that’s like listing Master VCR Repairmanship as my first resume skill so I leave it off. “Master” would be an overstatement and therefore lie, “Advanced Expert” is closer to real truth.
Elegant though I am not then, I tell you unabashedly that I love the finer things in life: wine, cheese, and if available, grapes. The finest versions of these fine things isn’t necessary for my inelegant palette but put the basic ingredients together in any order and my tongue rolls so tightly in my head with glee my feet threaten to escape the invisible clutches of the earth’s spinning molten core.
Aye lasses, I get that excitable. Here then is my mid-day snack.
Trader Joe’s Wisconsin Mild Cheddar, Parmesan, Trader Joe’s Multigrain Crackers and Vendange California 2008 White Zinfandel.

Something tells me you’re wearing a smoking jacket and an ascot while you type this…

HA! I was thinking the same thing as Caroline! I was picturing slippers and a pipe too… I think a kombucha in the wine glass may have been a bit more appropriate

If the wine & cheese tastes good, who cares what you pay for it?
I wish that was my afternoon snack.
