She Says: Gimme More
Morning! I had some Breakfast Tea in the form of a cold and delicious smoothie.
Yes, I had another White Tea Smoothie! This time, however, I left out the fresh strawberries and subbed in bananas, which make it sweet & flavorful enough to drink without any agave.
I’ve noticed new commenters, both with and without blogs, so “Hello! Thank you for reading my blog!” If you’re new I’m sorry if I haven’t made it over to your blog and commented yet. I’m getting through them and am really excited to check them out because I love finding new blogs! In the meantime, I want to get to know all of you a little better. One of the fun parts of having a blog is making connections with people who you would otherwise never know. I thought it would fun for everyone (blogers and non-bloggers) to share three fun facts about themselves.
Let me start:
- My left front tooth is completely fake.
- I was at Game 6 of the 1998 World Series when the Yankees beat the Braves and all was right in the world.
- Neither Mark nor I have left the country, but we both have passports.
Leave a comment and/or post the facts on your blog (but link back or let me know so I can read them).
Have a nice day!!!!

1. I can make my tongue touch my nose.
2. I have lots of tattoos, which for some reason seems to initially surprise people.

i’ll give you three as a teaser, but visit my post to read them all!

2. I have freakishly flexible fingers and toes. It’s practically a party trick, they’re so absurd.

3)I WISH I was better at languages. I am learning Spanish now and finding it SOOO dificil!
I think I love the glasses more than the smoothie – where are they from?
I posted these on my blog, but here goes:
1. I had never been on a rollercoast prior to six months ago, and I hated every minute of it.
2. I have never broken a bone or had chicken pox.
3. I type 90+ WPM with only 2 fingers. My typing teacher in high school tried to force me to type the right way but this is how I learned so it’s kind of hard to stop.

Awesome.
Here’s my three:
1. I skipped first grade. I knew how to read at 4th grade level by the time I was 3. I’ve only gotten dumber since.
2. I once OD’d on helium when I was 8. I took a hit from a balloon, it cut off all oxygen to my brain, I started running around in circles and slid down our steep driveway on my face. Drugs are bad.
3. I use to wear lipstick ALL THE TIME. Even during my college basketball games. Oh gawd, I’m so ashamed.
Hi! I know I’m late with reading this post b/c of my cross-country excursion…
1. Every single day I get more excited that football season is one less day away (GO PATS!).
2. I know I should somehow get rid of the hair on my toe knuckles (shaving?) but I just don’t. Heather has told me before to do so.
3. I know how to count to 10 in Hebrew, and know LOTS of Hebrew terms, but I am not Jewish. Many of my Jewish friends tell me that I am more Jewish then they are.
And a bonus #4…
4. I know how Heather lost her left front tooth (cheerleading is a VERY dangerous sport!).
[...] the Fun Facts Comments were such fun (who knew so many people had fake teeth issues like me!), I thought it would also be [...]
Okay, I’m a little late to the game but didn’t want to miss out on the fun:

2. The name on my birth certificate is different from the one on my passport/driver’s license (and not because I’m married or anything).
3. I am strangely able to sense where the is a bug or spider in a room.
1. I love to travel yet despise planning trips.
2. I have a bone popping out of my right shoulder.
3. I was born on Dec 7 and was married on June 7 – I think the six month distance is weird and I didn’t realize it until I was well into planning.
OK, I’m really late but this is fun!
1. I have TWO fake teeth! (I win). Both of my lateral incisors are implants – I was born without “adult” ones. (And it took me a year and a half to tell my boyfriend this).
2. I was also born on Dec 7th aka Pearl Harbor Day… my mom felt obligated to name me PEARL until my dad talked her out of it. Thank god.
3. I lived in Milan, Italy for 6 mo. And didn’t know a lick of Italian when I showed up.
Way late, but I agree this is fun!
1. I broke my nose wakeboarding last year.
2. My youngest sibling is 18 years younger than me.
3. I have never left the country either!
Also late, but here goes:
