She Says: Oh Lordy Lordy
Hello! Today was Day 1 of Summer Enrichment class. Class 1, piece of cake. Four little kids eager to learn all about the ocean. Class 2, not so much. Many more little kids, some eager, some not so eager to learn about science. Hmmph. I need to go find more exciting sciencey things to do for tomorrow! They are definitely going to give me a run for my money.
Classes end at 12:00 and I walked right on home for lunch. I had leftover pesto that Mark made with my own “"zucchini noodles” and a delicious plain Oikos Greek yogurt. The cold and creamy was perfect for a hot summer day.
I followed that up with a big bowl of watermelon. Perfect summer treat!
Oh and I am not sure I shared the present my sister got me for my birthday.
It has lots of herbs like rosemary, chives, parsley and lavender. It also has the basil that Mark used in the pesto. This is the best smelling plant ever.
The rest of the day includes an appointment regarding my finances that I am dreading, another trip to the local library and hopefully some relaxation at the gym.
Have a gorgeous day! I might actually have to water my tomato plant today!

What a gorgeous plant!! I love it!!
I taught a summer science camp to kids a few years ago! I did a great lesson on clouds and we made our own clouds with a big jar, water, food coloring, ice, and matches (for the teacher to use). I just found this website… maybe it will help- the kids always loved this one! http://eo.ucar.edu/webweather/cloudact1.html
Good luck!
