She Says: Ridiculously Good!
I much prefer working in the morning to the afternoons. It makes the day so much more productive. I was able to roll over a 401K into an IRA, go to Trader Joe’s, hit the gym and spend quality time at the children’s library and eat an enormous amount of bread today.
When I got home there was the best present a carb loving girl could ask for. Two loaves of Dave’s Killer Bread, specifically, Dave’s Flourless Sprouted Wheat Bread – the best sprouted wheat bread I’ve ever had straight from Andrea in Oregon. Really. Other sprouted wheat breads are bearable, but they are always dry and full of air. Not this bad boy. It’s wonderful because it’s softer and chewier than most sprouted breads and it’s seedy on the outside. I love seeds and I am so excited to have two loaves.

I can’t even lie. I’ve already had three pieces of this bread. First with some Naturally Nutty Vanilla Almond Butter. Ya know, just to test it out.
Then with a hummus, spinach and cucumber sandwich for dinner. I will really try not to eat all of this bread in three days, so I can enjoy it for as long as possible.

You know, I’ve never had the sprouted grain breads, but now I think I’m going to have to hold out til I’m in Oregon and can try THAT brand!

Sprouted bread is so good! I have recently even converted my mother to only eating sprouted grain and she loves it!

Have you tried Trader Joe’s sprouted wheat? It’s pretty good too! Although I’ve never tried Dave’s Killer Bread!
I’ve found that if I toast sprouted bread it’s much better…. but if you have that yummy soft bread have at it!! Cute picture of you two!!

That bread looks delicious! I’m a total bread fanatic too. I have to put my loaves straight into the freezer or else I’d just munch on bread constantly.

That bread looks absolutely amazing. I’ve been skeptical of trying sprouted bread, but if I can find this kind, I want it! Do you know if it is only sold out in Portland?

I tried some sprouted sourdough once, and it wasn’t BAD but it wasn’t that good. Might have to keep my eye out for this. I keep buying the super-lo-cal-but-nutritionally-void kind and I really shouldn’t.
DAVE’s is one of my current crazes! I can’t get enough of the powerseed brand!

That does look delish! Of course the problem with me finding to die for breads, is that I eat way to many slices–like the whole loaf consumed within a small amount of time

i found a few more wedding venues on Hilton Head Island ( one in particular really has potential) and a few more venues in Charleston… so I’m not sure when we will be able to get down to either to check it out because something with the house keeps going wrong or we have prior engagements to attend… this is why it will take a year at least to plan!
