She Says: Trader Joe’s Fun Pack
Morning everyone!
I noticed I’ve been eating a lot of fruit. It’s not that I mind eating vast quantities of fruit, but I don’t want to run out before I get to go to the market again. For that reason I opted out of fruit with breakfast and turned to the incredible, edible egg.
I scrambled 1 egg and 1 egg white, added spinach, green beans and salsa and had it with two pieces of sprouted grain bread.
And my cup of coffee. Yesterday I only drank 1/2 the cup, so maybe I’ll do that again!
Oh She Gives
As you might know tomorrow Angela from Oh She Glows is hosting Shop for a Cause, an online auction where you can place bids on a wide range of wonderful products for a good cause, the Canadian Cancer Society.
When she put out a call for donations, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to give. I’d already baked twice for Meghann, so I wanted to do something new. Reading other blogs and comments made me realize that some of you are deprived… you live a life without Trader Joe’s!!!! So, I decided to head on over to Trader Joe’s and get some wonderful and popular items for you. Here is what is in the Trader Joe’s Fun Pack!
- 3 fruit bars (mango, passion fruit and pineapple);
- Organic Blue Agave Sweetener;
- A box of “A Fig Walked into a Bar” cereal bar;
- Peanut Butter Filled Pretzels (no salt on the pretzels);
- Dark Chocolate Edamame; and
- Organic Ketchup (no High Fructose Corn Syrup!!!)

What a great breakfast! I am actually looking forward to going back to school because I think (in my mind anyway) that I will have more time to cook a lovely breakfast on weekdays (or at least on some). I am so not a morning person so getting up earlier to cook at home is not an option.
What a great donation to a wonderful cause!!
I totally remember Zack! I will view it tonight when I am home

those eggs look awesome. yum yum. I ate 2 pints of blueberries and a whole grapefruit yesterday! It was insane. I always wondered about bloggers and groceries, I feel like I eat and shop way more than most of you with your little loads. I think I need to ration a bit more!

This makes me really wish that there was a Trader Joe’s nearby! The closest one to me is about 3 hours away, so I have never been. I am keeping a list of all the things I would love to try if I ever get down there…now I have a few more things to add!!!

Your breakfast looks beautiful. I always find that eggs, vegetables and sprouted grain toast is a really delicious and sustaining breakfast.
And I seriously need to get myself back to Trader Joe’s. Dark chocolate edamame? Yum!

I love seeing your TJ purchases because I know you are budget-conscious (like me), and my husband and I recently debated the cost of TJ products vs. regular grocery store products. He has it in his head somehow that TJ’s is expensive!

TJ ketchup is the shiznit. I douse that thang on ev-ery-thing. I always wanted to try the choco-covered edamame, but i’m not a chocolate fan. Only if they were yogurt-covered…

That clip of Zack Morris was hysterical…I have to admit I still watch that show every morning while I’m getting ready for work. It is safe to say I’ve seen every episode 45+ times-maybe more!

Also, I am very intrigued by your agave, but have no idea what it tastes like. Is it like honey, light molasses, simple syrup, or something else? I want to try it.

I’ve had that chocolate covered edamame before and LOVE it. I’m hoping to visit TJ’s when I go shopping in MI this summer. Too bad there’s no TJ’s in Buffalo….that’s much closer to me!
PS….I tried the cinnamon in my coffee last night and adored it!

yes I am way more sarcastic than my video appears however I wanted to get to the point in the 1 minute I had- I didn’t feel like getting all crazy and WOOWOWOO pick me!
fun TJ pack , eh? I am sure the canadians would like it, eh? Jeff was born in Canada, eh? His father and mother met there at the summer lake homes. Lots of canadians say eh? after everything they say, eh.
I can’t wait to wach the jimmy fallon Zach Morris skit- I heard about it via radio on the way to class this am. Is it weird that I DVR saved by the bell at 7 am? I used to watch it while getting ready for class. Unfortunately, I know nearly every single episode.

GREAT IDEA doing the TJs gift pack. I live over an hour away from TJs. I make the trek as often as I can. I really feel for the poor souls who can’t get TJs at all.
