She Says: Preparations and Parties
After our gym trip and breakfast the day was jam packed with Summit activities.
We set up the room for the conference and stuffed tons of goodies into Stonyfield Bags for attendees. We took a break for THE BEST lunch ever (post detailing lunch to follow). Then it was back to the hotel for more hard work.
Finally, when every bag was stuffed, every T-shirt folded and every chair in its place we put on our party clothes and got ready to cocktail it up!
The Cocktail Party was at Rustic Kitchen, which made the most delicious pizza!! I just love wood fired pizza.
Kath is intense when she is taking pictures.
Meeting everyone was so much fun! I cannot even begin to explain it. Jenna compared our blog friendships to Internet Dating for friends and I think she’s right. As weird as it might seem to non-bloggers, I really feel like I’ve made friends.
Here are some party pictures from the night.
One of the best parts of the night was when Ali didn’t realize Nadine (seen behind me in the above photo) was my sister and thought she was just an errr extremely enthusiastic reader who knew a lot about my family and life. We’d been talking for quite awhile and Nadine kept referencing our parents or specific details of my life when finally Ali said, “Do you two know each other?” It was quite hilarious and made my belly hurt with laughter.
Goodnight everyone! See you tomorrow for the big day!!!

Wow, the pizzas sound look wonderful! I want that fig reserve pizza right now. HYSTERICAL about Ali!
