She Says: Cookies Fully Loaded
The urge to bake was overwhelming Friday, but I needed a good excuse. I simply cannot have goodies in my kitchen right now. I found an excuse and came up with these delicious (of course I tried 1 or 2) cookies that are now safely at their new destination.
Fully Loaded Cookies
- 1 3/4 C of Whole Wheat Pasty Flour
- 1 t of Baking Soda
- 1 t salt
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 4 T Unsalted Butter
- 1/3 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 C White Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 Pumpkin Seeds
- 1/3 C Dried Cranberries
To make these all you have to do is combine all the ingredients through the salt in a bowl. Then in a different bowl combine the eggs, room temp. butter and sugars. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and then add in the add-ins.
Bake for about 12 minutes at 350*. The result is cookies that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
My favorite part of these cookies was the pumpkin seeds! I am sure you could add just about anything to these and they would be delicious. What is your favorite cookie add-in?

Fabulous recipe! Come back for me? I don’t have TIME to have the “baking urge”
I love kitchen sink style cookies. I think dried cherries and dark chocolate are great add ins together
I like dark chocolate chips. What’s not to love?
definitely chocolate chips, then next in line are cranberries. Where are these cookies going? hopefully my house.
Chocolate and peanut butter chips! Yum!
Ooo those sound amazing! Chocolate is a classic, but I looove cookies with raisins too.
these look amazing heather!!
i love adding in toffee bits! my favorite combo is chocolate chips + hazelnuts + toffee
I love plain and simple chocolate chips in my cookies.
I LOVE fully loaded cookies! I have a similar recipe… Your’s looks awesome though!
I’m the same way with baked goods. Yummy sounding cookies though. I’m a PB or Chocolate Chip girl myself classics
Mmm those look insanely delicious. I love to take rolos or reeses and roll them into the center of the dough, so when you take a bite, it’s a huge candy surprise!
I’m a traditionalist when it comes to cookies. Chocolate/butterscotch/pb/white chcolate chips are my fave cookie ad-ins. Nothing crazy.
The best cookies for me are ones that are really just a bunch of add-ins held together by just enough delicious dough… dried fruit… coconut… chopped nuts… seeds… dark chocolate chunks… and pumpkins seeds in cookies are a wonderful part of my kitchen sink cookie philosophy! I can’t wait to try this recipe! Once I finish off the batch I baked last night…
Those look delicious! And the recipe seems pretty simple… I may do them this week! But I definitely have to give them away too (after trying one!) :p
Ha, I could certainly not have those at my house :s I love to bake but I agree, most of the time I need a reason that doesn’t involve them staying in my home for longer than a day.
i just made these (with chips that i had on hand as the only add-in), and they are delicious! the crispy/gooey texture was fantastic! thanks for the recipe!
If those are the cookies you left with me Friday night they were delicious! Sorry to all the other bloggers, but I got to sample them. It pays to be Mark’s mom!
Yum yum – the photo of hose cookies is so tempting! I think the addition of pumpkin chips would be so delicious! A must try…
*drool* now i want to bake some cookies
I looove underbaked cookies
I’ve never put pumpkin seeds in cookies but that’s awesome. I love sprinkling salt on top of chocolate chip cookies–takes it to a whole new level!
great recipe! i’d def add more chocolate…m&m’s?! or peanut butter chips! yum!
I love that you have 2 types of chocolate in them!
I think raisins are a nice addition to cookies
Heather this looks like such a great recipe! I love your healthy little add-ins. I am definitely bookmarking these to make the next time hubs requests chocolate chip cookies!
Mmm…next time you bake those cookies, I will be more than happy to take them off of your hands! : )
Those do sound like some great, fully loaded cookies. I would never have thought to add pumpkin seeds, but I bet they give it a great crunch.
Definitely raisins…but usually I don’t like anything in my cookies. I am a sucker for plain jane sugar cookies…YUM!
