She Says: Cookies Fully Loaded
The urge to bake was overwhelming Friday, but I needed a good excuse. I simply cannot have goodies in my kitchen right now. I found an excuse and came up with these delicious (of course I tried 1 or 2) cookies that are now safely at their new destination.
Fully Loaded Cookies
- 1 3/4 C of Whole Wheat Pasty Flour
- 1 t of Baking Soda
- 1 t salt
- 1 C sugar
- 1 C Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 4 T Unsalted Butter
- 1/3 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 C White Chocolate Chips
- 1/3 Pumpkin Seeds
- 1/3 C Dried Cranberries
To make these all you have to do is combine all the ingredients through the salt in a bowl. Then in a different bowl combine the eggs, room temp. butter and sugars. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and then add in the add-ins.
Bake for about 12 minutes at 350*. The result is cookies that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
My favorite part of these cookies was the pumpkin seeds! I am sure you could add just about anything to these and they would be delicious. What is your favorite cookie add-in?

Mmm those look insanely delicious. I love to take rolos or reeses and roll them into the center of the dough, so when you take a bite, it’s a huge candy surprise!

I’m a traditionalist when it comes to cookies. Chocolate/butterscotch/pb/white chcolate chips are my fave cookie ad-ins. Nothing crazy.

The best cookies for me are ones that are really just a bunch of add-ins held together by just enough delicious dough… dried fruit… coconut… chopped nuts… seeds… dark chocolate chunks… and pumpkins seeds in cookies are a wonderful part of my kitchen sink cookie philosophy! I can’t wait to try this recipe! Once I finish off the batch I baked last night…

Those look delicious! And the recipe seems pretty simple… I may do them this week! But I definitely have to give them away too (after trying one!) :p

Ha, I could certainly not have those at my house :s I love to bake but I agree, most of the time I need a reason that doesn’t involve them staying in my home for longer than a day.

Those do sound like some great, fully loaded cookies. I would never have thought to add pumpkin seeds, but I bet they give it a great crunch.
