She Says: Stonyfield Spa at Home Giveaway
Yogurt. I love it. I eat it daily and bake with it. Recently, I baked Banana Oat Muffins with my favorite Oikos yogurt. I am using that recipe as my official entry into the Stonyfield Spa Vacation Giveaway.
Banana Oat Muffins
Ingredients:
- 3/4 C Old Fashioned Oats
- 3/4 C Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
- 1/4 C Ground Flax
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 3 small frozen bananas
- 1/4 C Light Agave
- 1 T Coconut Oil
- 1 8oz. container of Plain Fat Free Oikos
Steps:
- Make oat flour by putting the oat in a food processor until they are a grainy flour consistency.
- Add the oat flour to the whole wheat pastry flour, flax, baking soda and salt.
- Put the bananas in the food processor and blend until they are creamy.
- Add the Greek yogurt, agave and coconut oil to the banana mixture.
- Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Scoop into greased muffin tins (I used Nature’s Promise Organic Cooking Spray) and cook at 325* for about 20 minutes.

The contest is just for bloggers, but Stonyfield has offered a spa-themed giveaway for readers and bloggers! You can win:
- 4 coupons for free containers of Oikos organic Greek yogurt
- a reusable Oikos tote bag,
- and the “Take- 5″ Anti-Stress spa kit from Earth Therapeutics, which includes a loofah massage sponge, Anti-Stress massage soap, a body brush, Anti-Stress massage lotion and a soothing gel eye mask.
Very exciting stuff, right!!!! To enter, leave a comment here telling me one thing you do at home to de-stress. Contest is open to U.S. residents and ends Wednesday at 10:00 PM EST when I pick a random winner. Good luck! And while your add it, check out their facebook page.
Oh and there is going to be something very fun and exciting on Hangry Pants tomorrow! Three hints: (1) NY; (2) wedding; (3) cubicles.
You’ll never guess.

I like to put on a yoga dvd and then sip some warm green tea after wards. That always takes the stress away or a good workout after work.
November 15th, 2009 at 9:54 pm
I do an inversion – headstand, handstand, forearm stand or downdog depending on the kind of stress. I find being upside-down is a real perspective-changer (in many ways!) and therefore a good de-stressor!
November 15th, 2009 at 9:55 pm
When we had our condo built, I asked for a beautiful big bathroom with a jacuzzi and got it

Nice! Typically my de-stressor is going for a run, but since I spent Sept. 22nd to Nov. 9th on the DL, I had to find new venues! Nothing even came close to matching what running does for me, but I have definitely upped my swimming and biking. Non-physical-activity-related, I really good at cooking fried rice and egg rolls.
November 15th, 2009 at 11:04 pm
I can’t wait for tomorrow’s post!
I typically run to de-stress… lately since I can’t run, I’ve just been sleeping, which doesn’t really help.. :/
November 15th, 2009 at 11:06 pm
