She Says: Wrapping it Up
Alright, I am glad to be wrapping up this week and day. I know it probably does not seem like a lot of work, but preparing report cards is time consuming! I am done with that task and now face parent teacher conferences!
I am a little down right now because I ate some mushrooms and I can taste it in my throat. Despite my best efforts to remove all mushrooms from my dinner,
a few still snuck in.
Otherwise, my Veggie Wrap was delicious.
I had a Strawberry Oikos + ground flax for dessert.
After work I went to Starbucks to prepare for our Girls on the Run banquet tomorrow. It’s supposed to be pretty rainy tomorrow, but I hope the girls are still able to enjoy the 5K and banquet. While stuffing goody bags, I enjoyed my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the Season. I ordered my with two pumps (they usually use three in a tall) because I find all flavors in their drinks overwhelming.
And I also made a big step today in terms of foot recover. I went to the gym! Now don’t get too excited. All I did was the stair climb machine and ride the bike for a bit. I barely broke a sweat, but it’s something! And while I was there I spotted something fun in a magazine.

Cool!
And let’s wrap this post up with a contest winner. he Bot Beverage Contest winner is

I’ll take your mushrooms! ; )
Our Girls on the Run 5k is tomorrow too! I’m a running buddy I’ll probably get my butt kicked
Glad you got a workout in!
that is hilar! they should definitely do a follow-up article on the hangry princess herself
best of luck with all that work love!
Lol. Great description for hangry
i LOVE that you found the definition of “hangry”
what a great way to end the week!
enjoy your Friday night!
Haha love the definition of Hangry….awesome
Hahah love the ‘hangry’ in the mag! Glad you were able to workout!
Hangry has become quite a part of my vocab!
I totally agree on the Syrup at Starbucks. I love it in my lattes but the sugared ones are way too sweet.
And you have my sympathies for report cards. So much to do for a grade report.
YESSSSSSSSSSS! I’m pumped! Thank you! I’m also not a fan of mushrooms and I hate when their mushroominess invades my meal…
Ahh report cards are exhausting and time consuming. They always remind me why I don’t have a desk job doing data entry. Happy Weekend!
I was just telling my husband the same thing since I do report cards for all my social work kids… it’s not “hard” per say, but it’s SO time consuming!! And I don’t know how you do it, but we are oldschool (not computerized fully yet) so I print one copy for my file, another for the school file, another to send home with teacher, etc…. what a waste of a bunch of trees!
Practically everyone I know is a teacher, so I know first hand (or second-hand, I guess) how much work those report cards are. Good luck!
That “hangry” mention is great!
Love the hangry mention! It’s so fun to find blog-related stuff in magazines and regular news. It makes so happy
I’ll take those shrooms of your hands next time! Good luck with the parent teacher conferences!
See, that’s why you are a nice person, and I’m a bitch. Every time I see somebody write Hugh Jass salad and not link me, there’s just the slightest little twinge of a knife twisting. I’m sure they stole that term from you. I think you need a good attorney or two. Let’s trademark Hugh Jass salad and hangry, okay?
When a blogger uses the word and doesn’t link to me I want to poke them in the eye with a stick. There I said it. Start linking people.
I didn’t know you weren’t a mushroom eater!
Awesome about hangry
As far as I am concerned, that is your word!
We enter the grades on the computer, but it’s not the entry it’s the paragraph long comments we have to write for each student.
Re Starbucks and pumps – I ordered an iced mocha a few days ago and I asked before it was made – “How many pumps do you put in the grande?” They said SIX! I was like yeah, I think I can do with only 3, thanks. Insane! I like to taste the coffee, not feel like I am eating a chocolate bar.
I think your aversion for mushrooms may be similar to mine of onions… except I wouldn’t be able to even buy a wrap that had them in. The onion juice, even if I got all the chunks out, would disgust me too much.
Hope you had a great weekend!!
Glad you were able to get to the gym, even if it wasn’t too intense of a workout… and congrats on getting “hangry” out there
Hangry!! That must of made your day
veggie wrap looks delish!

Haha! Hangry – I love it! Thanks for your sweet compliment on my Barcelona post.
It’s fun to talk about travels!
hangry!!
I just had my first pumpkin spice latte from sbucks on my drive down to school last weekend. It was SOOO much better than I expected. I’m officially craving it at all times of the day now!
So? How was the latte? Delicious?
Hangry is going to be one of the new words in the dictionary soon, I can just feel it!
I just had some Strawberry Oikos also! so yummy
perfect definition of hangry!
I love using the word hangry when I’m super hungry! It works so well
Mushrooms…evil little chewy nasty things.
I am with you on the mushrooms – yuk! Although when I make them for my husband, they smell so good!
We totally have the same owl purse.
congrats on getting back to the gym =)
[...] too much. The Spooky ‘Smores Z bar was the only thing I could scarf down until 3 pm. Hangry would be an understatement. I was straight up b!tchy. I stepped away so I didn’t blow [...]
