He Says: Day 1 Late Lunch Break

Gotta make this quick. On a break, people all millin’ around when they should be going downstairs to the Dunkin Donuts and getting little sandwiches.

Started with a cup of joe out of box. Black, got cold way too quick making me think it’s been there for a while. Probably since 5:30 AM when the first wacky corporate type picked it up on the way into the office. Makes me laugh since I went to bed at 3:30.

Stomach started to complain, part due to coffee, part due to hungry. Another PowerBar and a Vitamin water helped out for a short time.

Lunch break, went to the company cafe, since it’s the only place to go. This place is like Rikers’ Island but instead of being surrounded by water we’re enveloped in wilderness cut up with asphalt veins.

Can’t say the flat bread pizzas don’t look good though, right? Had to skip’em, too much cheese yesterday.

Little sandwiches calling my name. I get ‘em from time to time, never look at the meat before grabbing one. Always kind of exotic. Only 2.50 so if I want to go back for something else I still got the budget in the bank.

Took note of my co-worker’s massive lunch box from home. Covert ops picture; don’t say nothing.

My masterpiece, ended up un 6 bucks, a HUGE feat for this normally very expensive cafeteria. Spicy Lentil Soup, Roast Beef little sandwich with cheddar cheese and crazy olive tatooed bread. Straight up baby spinach, beans and a couple pieces of BBQ chicken. Gotta get my helping of batter for the day somewhere.
