She Says: Pink Shoes on a Tuesday.
Sometimes you need to make your own excitement. Today pink shoes did the trick.
Around 12:20 I headed home to make my lunch. I had a Dr. Prager’s Veggie Burger on Wheat Bread with some lettuce and BBQ Sauce.
And I had a big Organic Gala Apple that I swiped from my mom this weekend. 
I need to head to Whole Foods to get a couple last minute things for dinner tonight. Here’s some hints on what I’m making:
- It’s a vegetarian take on something traditionally meaty.
- I made it in December.
- It starts out green, but turns out red.
Any guesses?

Green lentils end up with a red sauce?? That sounds so good right now, even if its NOT what you’re making! LOVE the pink shoes! It’s still too cool here for my favorite pink shoes, but as soon as its warm enough, they come out!

Well, I do use a Foreman and here’s my trick – take it off with a giant spatula when it’s cooled a little. Even then, it usually crumbles. When I eat them in a sandwich, I usually eat them completely cold and pre-cooked.
I have no idea what you’re making, but I like the little guessing game. This is fun.
I’m still thinking…
